Host: "Welcome back, everyone, to the DeCaux PHaiR for the 50th DeCaux Phamily Reunion! It's hard to believe that we all, the DeCaux family, have been running this carnival for 50 years. Just like all of you, I can remember coming to the fair every weekend as a kid, working my summers here as a teenager, and of course, coming out for the big family reunions."
Host: "Good news is you were all able to make it out today, but I'm afraid there's bad news too. As you can see, apart from the family we don't have any guests at the park today, on account of this freak snowstorm."
Audience Plant: "What snowstorm?"
Host: "Oh, sorry, I said 'ON ACCOUNT OF THIS FREAK SNOWSTORM'"
someone throws white confetti on stage
Host: "and of course this freezing rain"
Audience Plant: "What freezing rain?"
Host: "Right, I said, 'ON ACCOUNT OF THIS FREEZING RAIN'"
waterballoon is thrown at host
Host: "and, then of course, there's the golf-ball size hail"
Audience Plant: "What golf-ball...."
Host (interrupting the audience plant): "Tzzztt!"
during this exchange someone has taken the stage and is holding an empty bucket, appearing ready to throw its contents at the Host
Host: "The point is, the carnival's hit some hard times, but don't worry. We've been able to open up a few games for you to play while I figure out how to get the fair up and running again. You go have a great time! I'll leave you with my sibling to kick off the reunion!"
