An Adventurous Puzzle Hunt

Greetings everyone! Thank you for coming out to puzzle hunt with us today. I'm going to lay down a few rules for you and your teammates but first, I want to get everyone on the same page. Does everyone know what a choose your own adventure book is?

An adventure book is a book about anti-gravity. I just can't put them down! Just kidding.

Choose your own adventure books are stories that are formatted so that after a couple of pages of reading you face options, each of which leads to more options, and then to one of many endings. The number of endings is not set. There is no clear pattern among the various number of pages, nor for your progressing going backwards and forwards through the pages of the book. This allows for a sense of unpredictability, and leads to the possibility of repeat readings.

The library has just received a new shipment of books and a few donations. In the donation bin we cam across a mysterious book. It is unclear how the book came to be or where it originally came from but it seems to have a clear vendetta. So far, those who have tried to read it have experienced a wide variety of misfortune.

DCPH® 2 was presented to teams as a choose your own adventure book. The files below were the materials we used on the day of the hunt. The Player's book was handed to teams as a hard cover book. The rest of the pdfs are for game control to facilitate the day (players should not read them!).

On the day of the hunt, some of the puzzles were physical constructions or skits. These puzzle are not solvable with the materials provided above. So you may need to skip those puzzles to continue with the hunt. Currently missing/incomplete puzzles:
